Keep-It is designed to integrate
with the Microsoft Explorer (it's a shell name space extension).
For this to be possible,
you must be using one of the following OS/Explorer combinations:

The 'original' Explorer is the one shipped with Windows 95 and
Windows NT 4.0. This explorer has the four toolbar buttons to
select view mode (big icons, small icon, list, and detail).
If you are using the original explorer, it is recommended you at
least install Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer contains support for the
included (HTML) help and a new version of the common controls.

To use the new automatic snapshot scheduling, you must be running
Task Scheduler. Look in My Computer to see if you have
a Scheduled Tasks folder, or on the task bar to see if the
Task Scheduler icon is shown. Installing
Task Scheduler gives futher details.
Keep-It 2.0 is not currently ported to Alpha, PowerPC, or MIPS
based hardware.
Archives produced with Keep-It 2.0 are not backward compatible
with Keep-It 1.0. Advise people you share your archives with to upgrade
immediatly.
Note: Keep-It 2.0 does NOT currently support Windows 2000.
Obviously, Keep-It will support Windows 2000 at release time, but for the
moment, the changes to the Explorer are too large to support for a Beta.
